Meet Our Team
Amanda has been in the veterinary field for 4 years as a veterinary technician and loves animals very much. She has a long-haired mini Dapple Dachshund named Jake (from State Farm)- Kershaw. She loves going to Disneyland, Dodger games, the beach, hiking and church. She joined our team here at TKVES in 2016.
Belinda is a Registered Veterinary Technician and absolutely loves working in the veterinary emergency and critical care field where she finds the fast-paced atmosphere very rewarding. She has worked at Tulare-Kings Veterinary Emergency Services since 2012 and graduated from San Joaquin Valley College with her Associate of Science degree in Veterinary Technology in 2014. She would like to further her career at some point and become a certified Emergency and Critical Care technician. Belinda has been married to her spouse since 2002 and they share a home with many important furry family members. In her free time she enjoys reading and spending time at the beach.
Charlotte has been working in the veterinary field since 2004 as a veterinary assistant, and has been with TKVES since 2013. Since 2004 she has acquired three pets. In Charlotte’s free time she likes to take her pets fishing and geo-caching.
Christopher joined the TKVES family in March of 2006 and has worked his way up to a lead veterinary assistant position. Chris is a father to a wonderful four year old girl and is currently enrolled at the College of the Sequoias, working towards a bachelors degree in biology. Chris finds it to be a pleasure working with TKVES’s very skilled and knowledgeable staff, advocating for the furry ones in their time of need. Eduardo has been in the veterinary field for 8 years and loves his dog and two cats. He loves animals and plans to never change his field of work. In Eddy’s spare time you can always find him at Six Flags Magic Mountain where he LOVES to ride every roller coaster as many times as can during their open hours.
Gene has been with Tulare Kings Veterinary Emergency Service since 2007 and is our indispensable bookkeeper. Gene has been married to his wife for 48 years. Gene enjoys his hobbies which include: coaching softball at Golden West High School, assisting with the softball program at the College of the Sequoias and vinyl record collecting.
Lauryn is a receptionist at TKVES and loves working with people and animals. She has three dogs of her own, Darla, Duke and Max. She also has two boys: Kolt (born in 2012) and Jake (born in 2015). She loves bowling with her children and going to the park. She has also been a Licensed Cosmetologist since she was 17 years old.
Jennifer has been an animal lover since birth and started working with animals when she was 19 at her local family's veterinary clinic. She soon started volunteering and fostering pets any chance she could, and has been in the veterinary field since 2001. Jennifer has been married since 2002 to a wonderful man who has accepted her love and passion of all animals. Jennifer has a son who is an animal lover like his mother, and there is no animal that they meet that is not a friend to them. Jennifer is also in the process of expanding her family by adopting 1 – 2 children in the near future. Jennifer currently owns a fabulous dog named Daisy and a cat with many names, like Ninja Cat and Snowflake. These two accept many fosters into her home.
Lynn enjoys her job as manager of Tulare Kings Veterinary Emergency Service and started in 2012. Lynn shares her passion for animals with her husband. Their animals include a rescued poodle and four cats. Lynn and her husband have two children and two grandchildren. Lynn and her husband enjoy watching their grandchildren play football, baseball, dance and soccer. Their favorite place to vacation is the coast area.
Marie has worked in the veterinary field since 2003 and has been with TKVES since August, 2009. She has always had a passion for animals and in February, 2014, received her RVT (Registered Veterinary Technician) license. When she’s not at work she enjoys running, gardening and spending time with her three wonderful children.
Michelle has been a receptionist at Tulare-Kings Veterinary Emergency Service since 2007 and has been in customer service for over 15 years. Her goal is to evaluate and prioritize each patient’s level of stability as she effectively communicates to the clients, technicians, and doctors in a professional and timely manner. She enjoys her job and is honored to work with the excellent TKVES staff. In her spare time, she loves spending time with friends, family and her three adorable nephews who bring great joy to her life! She also likes playing with her beloved cat, Ninja, whom she adopted from our clinic last year.
Patty has been with Tulare Kings Veterinary Emergency Clinic since 2012 and has worked in the pet care profession for approximately 12 years. She has always loved animals and has five dogs of her own….oh, and also a husband. Patty has lived in Tulare County since 2010 and loves her work because it gives her an opportunity to help injured animals and to find caring, loving homes for some of the less fortunate of our four-footed citizens.
Samantha started her healthcare career in the human field when she attained her CNA license in her senior year of high school. But she quickly learned that she would prefer caring for animals much more than humans. She attained her AS degree in Veterinary Technology from SJVC Fresno in 2013 and she is hoping to become a licensed RVT in the fall. Since then she has worked in both veterinary clinics and in shelters. She started this journey with one Corgi-mix dog named Trixie and she has also acquired three wonderful cats named Leonidas, Aurora and Rosie. She and her husband, Michael, have been together for 7 years and have been married for 4 years.
Selina graduated from SJVC in the spring of 2016. She lives in Fresno and has two cats of her own, Lion and Dipsy. She loves the emergency field because of the clients and patients she gets to help. Her ultimate goal is to become a Registered Veterinary Technician and will take the test in the fall.
Wendy has an AS degree in Veterinary Science and has worked in veterinary medicine for over 19 years. She enjoys the human-animal bond that she creates between herself and her patients. Wendy loves to spend time with her daughter Alyssa. She is extremely proud of Alyssa who just graduated from college with double Bachelor’s degrees in psychology and criminology. On her time off, Wendy also likes to spend time with her beloved grandson Jayden. She also has three dachshunds, one golden retriever, and one cat that fill her busy life though, somehow, she still finds time to read, hike, and go sailing!
